WH were one of two architect nominated flooring companies put forward for the for the install of the new flooring at St Patricks Church in Bradford, just 1/4 of a mile from our base. We successfully secured the project and installed over 500m2 of Karndean LVT following a full subfloor preparation using a specialist primer and levelling compound as recommended following survey of the existing subfloor. Works were on site for 3 weeks.

WH carried out the flooring install to the new 1000m2+ extension at Selby garden centre during the early part of 2020. The project included full subfloor preparation including a liquid applied DPM following a moisture test carried out by WH, followed by levelling screed before flooring went down.

Over 700m2 of LVT was installed to restaurant and sales areas, laid to various patterns including brick bonded tile effect, herringbone wood effect and bespoke design Karndean Heritage Lansdown. Sheet safety vinyl with coved skirtings was installed to kitchen and servery areas as well as back of house offices and corridors.

WH carried out the installation of bespoke Brinton’s carpet to 184 bedrooms and communal areas within the 9 floor Hotel Brooklyn using the traditional method of felt underlay and gripper rods. We also installed Havwoods timber flooring onto acoustic underlay to the dressing areas of all bedrooms. The install included the installation of safety sheet vinyl to the large commercial kitchen servicing the hotel’s restaurant, as well as safety vinyl installs to back of house areas and staff staircase from the ground floor to the ninth floor, inclusive of stair nosings and coved vinyl skirtings to wet areas. The function room on the top floor, communal corridors and customer staircase had bespoke carpet adhered onto a Durafit rubber crumb underlay. The project was carried out over a 6 month period on site.
