WH carried out the installation of bespoke Brinton’s carpet to 184 bedrooms and communal areas within the 9 floor Hotel Brooklyn using the traditional method of felt underlay and gripper rods. We also installed Havwoods timber flooring onto acoustic underlay to the dressing areas of all bedrooms. The install included the installation of safety sheet vinyl to the large commercial kitchen servicing the hotel’s restaurant, as well as safety vinyl installs to back of house areas and staff staircase from the ground floor to the ninth floor, inclusive of stair nosings and coved vinyl skirtings to wet areas. The function room on the top floor, communal corridors and customer staircase had bespoke carpet adhered onto a Durafit rubber crumb underlay. The project was carried out over a 6 month period on site.
