Carlsberg Sports Bar

The project was to complete the full flooring installation of Carlsberg’s contemporary Sports Bar within the Empire Casino in London’s famous Leicester Square prior to the start of the European Football Championships and the 2012 London Olympics.

Throughout the main area Amtico floor tiles were installed with Altro Stronghold vinyl sheet and entrance matting.

The £1.45bn complex which houses more than 300 shops, 70 restaurants, a 14-screen cinema, three hotels, a bowling alley and the UK’s largest casino opened in September 2011 in time for the 2012 Olympics.

We have carried out a variety of installations on behalf of our clients that include the following:

ADIDAS – The installation of 600×600 porcelain tiles throughout the sales area with vinyl tiles to back of house. Incorporating the build-up of the subfloor using 20mm Backer Board.

FOOTLOCKER – The installation of 600×600 porcelain tiles throughout the sales area with vinyl tiles to back of house. Incorporating the build-up of the subfloor using 20mm Backer Board.

STRADA – The installation of European Oak wood flooring throughout the restaurant area on a subfloor build-up of 25mm plywood. The restrooms were fitted out with 1200×600 porcelain floor tiles and 600×600 porcelain wall tiles.

ALDOs – The installation of 600×600 porcelain tiles throughout the sales area with vinyl tiles to back of house. Incorporating the build-up of the subfloor using 20mm Backer Board.

THOMAS SABO – The installation of Wenge Timber wood flooring throughout the sales area with sheet vinyl to the back of house.

SKAGEN – The installation of Engineered Timber flooring throughout the sales area with sheet vinyl to the back of house areas on a subfloor build-up of 25mm plywood

GIRAFFE – The installation of Engineered Timber flooring throughout the restaurant area with ceramic tiling to the bar area and feature walls.

H SAMUELS – The installation of 160m² 795mm x 795mm ceramic tiles to the sales area with Vinyl tiles to the back of house area.

ERNEST JONES – The installation of 120m² Axminister carpet on a Durafit System along with 25m² of Timber Planking and 40m² of Vinyl tiles to the back of house area.

VUE CINEMA – The installation of 260m² of 20mm Lime Stone Tiles in random sizes to the concourse area including latex screed to all subfloor areas.

DISNEY – The installation of 600mm x 300mm Composite Stone Tiles to curved feature walkway with Manningtons American ‘Click Plank’ to the remainder of the sales floor including all subfloor preparation.

Description:

Debenhams have been running a series of refurbishments to their current stores throughout the UK.

We have been involved in a number of these projects including The Trafford Centre Manchester, Merry Hill Shopping Centre near Dudley, West Orchards Shopping Centre in Coventry and the Fishergate Centre at Preston.

Works have included the strip up of the existing floor coverings with subfloor preparations prior to installation of porcelain tiles to the cosmetic area, Amtico, Axminister carpet and Altro safe flooring to various areas.

Free School, Derbyshire

FREE SCHOOL

Duration 2 weeks

The project consisted of the supply and installation of Vinyl Safety sheeting, Vinyl Plank, Carpet Tiles and Entrance Matting.

We installed 6mm plywood to the subfloor fully fixed with a feather screed finish throughout prior to laying the floor coverings.

The Vinyl sheeting was a mixture of Polysafe Ultima, Polysafe Hydro and Polyflor Sports 67.

The vinyl plank was part of the Project Floor medium collection and the carpet tiles from National Carpet Tiles Zeon range.

Woolston Mills, Bradford

WOOLSTON MILLS

This was a £25m redevelopment scheme converting the former Woolston Warehouse into boutique apartments.

Working closely with the architects, we specified the products for the installation.

Natural Wool Berber carpet on underlay was laid throughout the apartments with Karndean Vinyl Tiles to the kitchen area and Ceramic Tiles to the walls and floors in the bathrooms.

Heavy Contract Carpet Tiles from a Burmatex range were installed in all communal areas with Quantum nosings to stairs. The entrance to Woolston Mill was laid with Ceramic tiles and a glass mosaic feature wall.
